Environmental Renewable Energy Programs
EnviroOne selected several key environmental focus areas to concentrate on. One
of the primary efforts of EnviroOne is to raise money for renewable energy
projects, support research for clean energy production, and sponsor research for
the beneficial use of byproducts created for energy production. Some of our
focus areas are energy crop cultivation, rural energy for
Africa, beneficial use of coal fly ash, and biomass energy.
As part of EnviroOne’s ongoing effort to support the environment, EnviroOne
focuses on programs that increase electricity generated from renewable
sources, such as solar, wind, water or biomass power. Through this program,
EnviroOne will expand its “Alternate Energy” program to find sustainable
renewable energy sources and encourage large electricity users to purchase
electricity from renewable sources.
Electricity generated from renewable sources can have significant environmental
benefits over traditional sources of electricity such as fossil fuels.
Increasing use of renewable sources of electricity will reduce air emissions of
nitrogen oxides, sulfur oxides, carbon dioxide and mercury, reducing the effects
of acid rain, smog, global warming and other negative environmental impacts
associated with conventional electricity generation. Using electricity generated
from renewable sources can improve public health by reducing the amount of
pollutants released into the air that can cause asthma and other pulmonary
disease.
